Reiki Attunements in Lapeer, Michigan
The 1846 Lapeer County Courthouse is recognized as the oldest original courthouse structure still in use in Michigan, and one of the 10 oldest in the country.
Built in 1845 and 1846 in Greek Revival style, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The city is the Lapeer County seat on the Flint River, settled in 1831 and home to 9,023 residents at the 2020 census. Downtown runs along Nepessing Street, which earned Michigan Main Street Select Level status in 2017, and the Piety Hill Historic District of homes and churches sits adjacent to it, listed on the National Register on July 26, 1985. The Art Deco PIX Theatre opened on April 9, 1941 and reopened in 1997 as a city owned live performance venue. Rowden Park covers 65 acres with a mile of paved pathway, wetland boardwalks, and a sledding hill. Lapeer Days has run more than 122 years. Study here happens at your own screen, at whatever hour suits the week.
Reiki practice is an unregulated complementary field in the US, so requirements vary by state and setting. We recommend checking any local rules that apply to your situation.
The academy sits in Madison Heights, and I am in Lapeer. Is there an in-person option somewhere in Michigan?
No. Everything the academy offers is online, and every attunement and course is an instant digital download. There is no classroom, no studio visit and no local meetup, in Lapeer, in Madison Heights, or anywhere else in Michigan. Being in the same state does not change the format for you. Rev. Michael Allison teaches through the materials you download, and you work through them at your own pace, on your own schedule. Reiki here is offered as complementary support for relaxation and a calmer daily rhythm, and it is not medical care.
