The Crystal Dragons Online Certification Course and Manual

The Crystal Dragons: Online Certification Course and Manual

The Crystal Dragons is a set of three channeled attunements that connect you with the energies of the dragons, offered for spiritual development and personal growth. Prismatic Reiki Academy presents it as a self-paced online course, so you can receive the attunements and keep the written guide wherever you live, studying in your own time with no travel and no scheduled class. The tone is imaginative and reverent throughout. It is offered to support your spiritual development, and it is framed as a reflective, spiritual focus rather than any form of medical care. The manual itself is clear on this point, stating plainly that this is not a healing system but a path of spiritual progression.

The Crystal Dragons was channeled and set down by Jay Burrell, who received it one evening in August 2005 while dedicating his dragon eggs to the energies of the dragons beneath his grounding tree. His authorship is acknowledged here with thanks. Rev. Michael Allison is certified in The Crystal Dragons and teaches it as Jay Burrell's own manual tells the story of the dragons and their three attunements, carrying it forward unchanged.

The Story Behind the System

The manual opens with the author's own account of how the energies came to him. Holding three dragon eggs between his hands in prayer, he felt the dragon energy enter through his fingertips and flow down through each of his chakras, opening and clearing as it went. A deep voice then told him that he had received the knowledge and attunements of the Crystal Dragons, and that they were to be passed to as many people as possible. The teaching holds that the dragons live at a higher vibration than people do, which is why they are seldom seen, and that they wished to make themselves known again to help with a time of change. The three attunements are described as being for spiritual development and progression, and the course presents all of this as the lore of the system, a story to sit with, never a promise about events in your life.

The Three Crystal Dragons

Each of the three attunements introduces a dragon with its own character and name. The Clear Quartz Dragon, whose name is Albazin, is described as the great teacher and guide among the dragons, said to bring clarity and clearing to the whole of a person's energy. The Rose Quartz Dragon, called Azrabel, carries a tender energy and is named the dragon of love, family, nurturing, compassion, and peace, a presence associated in the lore with the heart. The Amethyst Dragon, whose name is Morvan, is the dragon of protection, courage, and dreams, pictured wrapping great wings around you when you feel in need of shelter, and said to visit in dreams if you ask. The manual presents these three as companions for your spiritual growth, each with a story and a quality to reflect on.

The Dragon Meditation

At the center of the course is a guided meditation to meet your own guardian dragon. The manual leads you to a cliff above a crashing sea and into a great cavern carved by the water, known as the Mouth of the Dragon, where a smooth stone throne waits. There you are met by Taliesin, the Lord of Dragons, known also as Merlin, who chants an old call and summons a dragon out of the swirling mist. You are invited to notice its color and size, to introduce yourself, and to open your heart to this ancient being before it settles before you. At the close you thank the dragon, and it promises to come whenever you call, riding small upon your shoulder as you leave. The manual offers this as a vivid, contemplative practice you can return to whenever you wish to meet a new dragon friend.

How the Distance Attunements Are Received

The Crystal Dragons comes as three channeled attunements, each an energetic alignment passed with intention to open a connection to the dragon energies. Received here at a distance, the attunements ask only for quiet, undisturbed time. You settle comfortably, ground yourself, and open to the energy with a clear intention, resting as it flows and then closing gently. Since this course reaches you across distance, no touch is part of it, and the whole process is held as a calm, spiritual focus for development and growth. The guide also includes a clear account of the chakra system, so that a student has a grounding in the energy centers the dragons are said to work through.

The Crystal Dragons Manual and Your Study

The Crystal Dragons is a fully online course that you take at your own pace. When you enroll, Jay Burrell's complete Crystal Dragons manual downloads to you as a lasting copy to revisit whenever you wish, carrying the story of the system, the three dragons Albazin, Azrabel, and Morvan with their names and qualities, the guided dragon meditation, the chakra teaching, and the method for both receiving and passing the three attunements in one place. Because The Crystal Dragons is a distance course with no appointment and no classroom, you receive the attunements in a quiet time of your own and read from wherever you live. Prismatic Reiki Academy issues a certificate of completion on request once the Crystal Dragons material has been studied, and the Academy answers questions by email while you read.

Who the Course Is For and What Comes Next

The Crystal Dragons is offered to adults who feel drawn to dragon energy and to a path of spiritual development and personal growth. It is a standalone set of attunements rather than a graded Reiki level, so no prior Reiki background is required and complete newcomers are welcome. Students already working with crystals or with other guide and animal-spirit energies often add the Crystal Dragons to deepen their imaginative and meditative practice.

After you have received the three attunements and studied the guide, you can work with the dragons and the meditation for your own reflection and growth, calling on Albazin, Azrabel, or Morvan as each speaks to you. Once you feel settled with the system, you may pass the attunements to others in keeping with the author's wish that the knowledge be shared widely and the manual kept intact. In this way the course gives you both a personal practice and, if you choose, a way to carry the tradition onward. Rev. Michael Allison, certified in The Crystal Dragons, and Prismatic Reiki Academy stay reachable for guidance along the way. Throughout, The Crystal Dragons stays what it has always been in its own tradition, an imaginative and reverent focus for spiritual development in the company of the dragons.
