Reiki Attunements in Harbor Beach, Michigan
Major Louis J. Sebille, born here in 1915, was the first United States Air Force member awarded the Medal of Honor.
Frank Murphy was born in this Huron County city of 1,576 residents too, in 1890, in an 1870s house listed on the National Register in 1971. Settlement began in 1837 around a sawmill, the village went by Sand Beach until 1899, and incorporation as a city followed in 1910. In 1872 the federal government chose the Sand Beach cove for an artificial harbor of refuge enclosing 650 acres of anchorage. Breakwaters were begun in 1873 and completed in 1885, the year a conical cast-iron sparkplug lighthouse was built at the end of the north breakwater. The Grice House Museum, a Gothic style house built by James G. Grice, is now a three building museum complex. Judge James H. Lincoln Memorial Park sits on Lake Huron with a sandy beach, a pier and a gazebo. Reiki study here happens on a screen, at whatever pace the week allows.
Reiki practice is an unregulated complementary field in the US, so requirements vary by state and setting. We recommend checking any local rules that apply to your situation.
The academy operates from Madison Heights. Is there an in-person Reiki class somewhere in Michigan I could attend instead of studying online?
No. Every attunement and course from the academy is an instant digital download, and there is no in-person option anywhere, in Michigan or outside it. Sharing a state with Madison Heights does not change the format, so there is nothing to drive to and nothing gets mailed. You register, download your materials, and work through them at whatever pace suits you, returning to them as often as you like. Reiki is offered as complementary support for relaxation and a calmer daily rhythm, and it is not medical care.
