Reiki Attunements in Toronto, Ontario
A storm in 1858 severed the Toronto Islands from the mainland, turning a natural peninsula into islands.
The Town of York was founded on August 27, 1793 by Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe, who chose the site as a defensible capital for Upper Canada. Early settlers called it "Little York," a cluster of log homes near the mouth of the Don River. American forces captured and plundered the town in the 1813 Battle of York, burning the parliament buildings. The Great Toronto Fire of 1904 destroyed more than 100 downtown buildings. On January 1, 1998 the province amalgamated six municipalities, Old Toronto, East York, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough and York, into one city, despite a referendum that opposed it by more than 3 to 1. The nickname "The Six" is credited to local rapper Jimmy Prime, references the 416 area code and those six municipalities, and was popularized globally by Drake. The underground PATH network is one of the world's largest subterranean pedestrian systems, linking Union Station to offices, arenas and shops. A vast ravine system cut by the Humber, Don and other rivers threads green wilderness through the urban core. Every academy course runs online and self-paced, so students in Toronto set their own hours.
Do you run any in-person Reiki classes or attunements in Toronto, or is everything online?
Everything runs online and self-paced, so the honest answer is no. There are no in-person classes anywhere in Toronto, no venue at Union Station or in the Distillery District, and no travelling teacher. Course materials are delivered online, with nothing shipped to your address and nothing to collect in person. Reiki is offered as complementary support for relaxation and a calmer daily rhythm, never as medical care.
