Reiki Attunements in London, Ontario
The Flame of Hope burns at Banting House National Historic Site.
Frederick Banting was living in London when the idea that led to insulin came to him. The city sits at the Forks of the Thames, the site Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe selected in 1793 and named after the English capital, intending it as a colonial capital, and the river here carries the Thames name as well. The village was founded in 1826 and incorporated as a city in 1855. The Forest City name comes from London emerging out of dense woodland, and the city maintains millions of trees. Eldon House, built in 1834, is the oldest surviving residence and is now a museum. Covent Garden Market is a historic downtown public market, and Budweiser Gardens is the main downtown arena and concert venue, where the London Knights play. The Knights won the Memorial Cup in 2005, 2016 and 2025. London Health Sciences Centre is the city's largest employer, with over 10,000 staff, and one of Canada's largest teaching hospitals. In 2021 London was named Canada's first UNESCO City of Music. Bandleader Guy Lombardo was born here, and the experimental Nihilist Spasm Band formed downtown in 1965. Study with the academy keeps no timetable, so it fits the hours you actually have.
I work rotating shifts at London Health Sciences Centre. Can I take a Reiki course without committing to a set class time?
Yes. Every course and attunement is an instant digital download, so nothing is scheduled and nothing is shipped to your London address. You open the material between shifts and revisit it as often as you like. We will not claim more than that. Reiki is complementary support for relaxation and a calmer daily rhythm, and it belongs alongside the care of your clinicians, never in place of it.
