Reiki Attunements in Beaverton, Oregon
Beaverton is Washington County's second-largest city and a western suburb of Portland, best known worldwide as the home of Nike's sprawling world headquarters campus.
Named for the beaver-dammed wetlands that once covered the valley, it grew from a Kalapuya homeland and railroad farm town into a high-tech and sportswear hub within Oregon's 'Silicon Forest.' It is also one of Oregon's most ethnically diverse cities and home to one of the state's largest farmers markets. Settlers referred to the beaver-dam wetlands as 'Beaverdam'; the city's name derives from that large body of water. The Atfalati (Tualatin) band of the Kalapuya people lived in the area for thousands of years and called it Chakeipi, 'place of the beaver.'. Electronics firms Tektronix (1959) and Electro Scientific Industries (1962) moved in, establishing the area as a tech center. The Round at Beaverton Central, a transit-oriented development on the MAX light-rail line. Nike World Headquarters campus, roughly 75 buildings on hundreds of acres with buildings named for athletes like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. Tualatin Hills Nature Park, a 222-acre wildlife preserve. The Beaverton Farmers Market is the largest agricultural-only farmers market in the Pacific Northwest, drawing 15,000-20,000 visitors on a summer Saturday. Other major employers and firms include Tektronix, Analog Devices, Leupold & Stevens, and Reser's Fine Foods (headquartered locally since 1960). Everything is learned at home and framed as complementary support, not a substitute for care.
Reiki practice is an unregulated complementary field in the US, so requirements vary by state and setting. We recommend checking any local rules that apply to your situation.
