A post office served the community from 1896 until 1935, after which mail came out from Houston. A 1914 account lists two general stores, a fig preserver, several poultry breeders and several dairymen, and the population touched 100 in 1925 before falling back to a few dozen through the 1930s and 1940s. Today this is a census-designated place in unincorporated central Harris County, inside Houston's extraterritorial jurisdiction, threaded by the Hardy Toll Road, the Union Pacific Railroad and Farm to Market Road 525, and close to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. No. Enrollment has nothing to do with city limits, county lines or a mailing address, because the academy sends no physical item. You receive your attunement and course as a download and study wherever you are, whether that is here, inside Houston proper, or somewhere else entirely.
