Reiki Attunements in Victoria, British Columbia
Fan Tan Alley narrows to under three feet at its tightest point.
It is the narrowest commercial street in North America, and it lies in Chinatown, the oldest in Canada. The capital of British Columbia sits on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. The Hudson's Bay Company built Fort Camosun here in 1843 and soon renamed it Fort Victoria after Queen Victoria, and the City of Victoria was incorporated on August 2, 1862. The 1858 Fraser Canyon gold rush turned the city into the supply port for miners, and its population went from about 300 to over 5,000 within days. The city is known for a harbour framed by the 1897 Parliament Buildings and the 1908 Empress Hotel. Afternoon tea is a signature ritual, and the Fairmont Empress serves roughly 500,000 cups of tea each year. Winters are the mildest of any city in Canada, and a higher share of people bike to work here than in any other Canadian city. Starting in 1904, Jennie Butchart landscaped an exhausted limestone quarry into the 55-acre Butchart Gardens. Beacon Hill Park is home to Mile 0, the western terminus of the Trans-Canada Highway. Online study has its own Mile 0, and the student sets it.
Does the academy hold any in-person attunements or classes on Vancouver Island?
No. You register, work through the material at your own pace, and set your own schedule. Reiki is offered as complementary support only. It is not medical care, it does not replace advice from your own health professionals, and no outcome is promised.
