Reiki Attunements in Edmonton, Alberta
In 1795 the Hudson's Bay Company set up Fort Edmonton on the North Saskatchewan River, taking its name from Edmonton in Middlesex, now part of London, England, and birthplace of HBC deputy governor Sir James Winter Lake.
A town of about 700 residents in 1892, it held roughly 8,350 people when it became a city in 1904, was named capital of the brand new province of Alberta on September 1, 1905, and amalgamated with Strathcona across the river in 1912. It is now the northernmost city in North America with more than a million residents, and at the summer solstice daylight runs about 17 hours and 3 minutes. The river valley parkland stretches roughly 88 km, over 7,300 hectares, about 22 times the size of Central Park, and some 375 neighbourhoods sit across seven geographic sectors. Study that keeps its own hours fits a city whose light is this generous.
I work rotations on northern Alberta projects and I am rarely home on a set schedule. Can I still take a Reiki course through the academy?
Yes. Every attunement and course is an instant digital download, so there is no class time to miss and nothing gets shipped to Edmonton or to a camp up north. Start when you have signal, stop mid rotation, and return to the same material later at your own pace. If you were hoping for an in-person session somewhere in the river valley or across Alberta, the honest answer is no. Reiki here is complementary support for relaxation and a calmer daily rhythm, alongside whatever care you already use.
