From the Prismatic Reiki Academy blog
A Reiki attunement is the initiation that opens a student to Reiki. A Reiki Master Teacher passes it to the student, and the connection it creates does not wear off. These articles explain what an attunement is and how a distance attunement reaches you at home. They also show why the lineage behind your teacher matters. You will learn what to expect in the traditional 21-day clearing that follows. Simple steps help you through it: rest, drink water, keep a journal, and keep up gentle self-Reiki. Are you getting ready for your first attunement? Or did you just receive one and want to understand what you are noticing? Either way, this is a good place to start. Every attunement at Prismatic Reiki Academy is delivered as a distance attunement.
