Reiki Attunements in Galway, Connacht
In 1477, Christopher Columbus is reputed to have called at this Atlantic port, noting it in the margin of a manuscript.
The town he would have seen had grown from Dún Gaillimhe, a fortification raised in 1124 by Tairrdelbach Ua Conchobair, King of Connacht, and it took its municipal charter and mayoralty in 1484. Fourteen merchant families, the Tribes, ran the place from the mid-13th century onwards, and when Cromwell's forces coined "The Tribes of Galway" as an insult the families adopted the name defiantly. At the mouth of the Corrib sits the Claddagh, the old fishing village that once elected its own King and gave the world a ring of two hands holding a crowned heart. Buskers still fill Quay Street, oysters have had their own festival since 1954, and the Spanish Arch still stands beside the cold river running through the centre. Study that arrives by download suits a harbour city long used to receiving things from far away.
Galway sits beside the Connemara Gaeltacht, so is any of the course material available in Irish?
No. Every attunement and course here is written and recorded in English only, and there is no Irish-language version at present. Everything is an instant digital download, so nothing is posted to Galway and there is no in-person class in the city. You can work through the material at your own pace, whether that is at home, in Salthill, or anywhere with a connection. Reiki is offered as complementary support for relaxation and a calmer daily rhythm, and it does not replace care from a doctor.
