What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our site.
Some tools use similar storage inside your browser, called local storage. This page lists both.
Cookies and storage on this site
- PHPSESSID (Prismatic Reiki Academy): keeps your cart and checkout working. Lasts until you close your browser.
- appwt_visitor_id, appwt_session_id, appwt_session_time, appwt_session_start (local storage, site analytics by AppWT): count visits and pages viewed and help filter out bot traffic. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- _ga, _ga_XT0ETVWPFJ (Google Analytics 4): measure how visitors use the site. Last up to 2 years.
- _fbp (Meta Pixel): measures visits and ads on Facebook and Instagram. Lasts 90 days.
- _fbc (Meta Pixel): set only when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad link, to record that ad click. Lasts 90 days.
- lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime (local storage, Meta Pixel): record the last outside site that sent you here. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- Pinterest cookies (Pinterest Tag): Pinterest may set its own cookies to measure visits and ads on Pinterest. Pinterest controls their names and how long they last.
- NID (Google, set on google.com when Google Translate loads): Google's own preferences cookie. Lasts about 6 months.
- googtrans (Google Translate): remembers the language you choose. Lasts until you close your browser.
- ada-settings (local storage on appwt.com, accessibility tool): saves any accessibility setting you change. Kept until you reset it or clear your browser data.
- pf_privacy_optout (Prismatic Reiki Academy): set only if you press "Opt out of ad tracking" on our Your Privacy Choices page, so our pages stop loading the Meta Pixel, the Pinterest Tag and Google Analytics. Lasts 1 year.
- Stripe cookies (Stripe, on Stripe's checkout page only), such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: prevent fraud and process your payment. Stripe controls how long they last.
Visitors in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland
If your IP address shows that you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our pages do not load Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or the Pinterest Tag, so none of their cookies or storage is set by our pages.
How to control cookies
You can opt out of ad tracking on our Your Privacy Choices page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop the cart from working.
